I'm curious they seemed to be almost hated by the general FM scene. My question is why. I like them quite a bit.

I think it might be because the singer is/was a model beforehand. Personally, I like Krypteria less. But I think it might be because people resent her becoming a singer, because she is not as good as some of their favorites. And honestly, I had aprehension about the band when I first heard of them. Iwas like...Umm...Models can't sing!

Now, how judgmental is THAT? But people are quick to judge. That is probably why.

But if that is the case then why does it seem only true in the metal scene? Look at someone like Paris Hilton has zero talent at all, however she is a best selling artist. And a celebrity.

That's why it doesn't make sense to me. Lady Angellyca actually has talents, many talents at that, and people won't accept her as a singer.

Because...metal heads are different then the general public. Metal heads are snobs. More so than the people who listen to Paris lol.

Of course it isn't fair..that's just 1 possible influence on people thoughts. I even started thinking that. And it is actually because of all the models or actors who go into a singing or musical career...and suck.

They aren't very good? That could be why Well they're ok, but nothing special. But yeah i don't know why they are so hated though, i think alot of people think they are copying other bands too much, i don't know Someone's always got to bitch about something i guess

I agree with the thieving bastards bit. Lady A could NOT pull off the Deceiver of Fools thing though...so it was almost on the level of an MadTV parody.

They are good.

Another thing could be that her english is difficult to understand. From clips of the newest album it sounded like she was getting better, however on earlier albums it was near impossible to tell what she was singing even when reading along with the lyrics.
