INTERRIA is created in 2005 by Jenni Signorino, Stef Montiel and Julie Henau, soon joined by Xavier Dafonte, Fabien Calmon and Franck Metayer. The band immediately records a four tracks autoproduced promoCD, released in june 2006. The songs on this first EP are representative of the kind of music the band wishes to play : a mix of metal, electro and rock parts, with french lyrics.
At the end of 2006, INTERRIA keeps performing. It begins in some of the best concertrooms
(la Scène bastille, la Maroquinerie) in Paris to conclude at Metal Female Voices Festival, in 2007 and the 2008 Tenth Anniversary Raismesfest. Intense and outstanding shows allowing the band to gain a strong fanbase and an impressive "live" reputation. As a new year approach, you can bet on many concerts, one due to take place in the famous parisian "la Locomotive".
Beside all these, INTERRIA spends the first part of 2008 in the well-known Loko Studio (MyPollux, Sidilarsen) and recorded his very first album with Guillaume André and his assistants. A very strong experiment through wich the band redefines his own limits towards the ultimate evolution of his sound and music. |
